Text

I sympathise with some of what the Member says, but I think that he will acknowledge that some of the Bills that he spoke about made it on to the statute book because they were introduced at a time at which there was a realistic prospect of doing so. As leader of the Opposition, I want the Executive to introduce legislation for us to debate and scrutinise. That is their job, and they have the resources to do so. We have to be realistic, however, and say that Bills that are introduced a few months before the end of the mandate will not pass. It is a bit disingenuous for us to pretend that they will.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.03 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
