Text
I thank the First Minister for her answer. I recently learned that children in contingency accommodation will no longer be able to go to school until they are in permanent accommodation. Some of the children with whom I am working have been in hotels for up to two years. I am very worried that, at some stage, there will be an inquiry into the treatment of those children, some of whom are malnourished and have poor mental health. It is deeply concerning that they will now be unable to go to school. What assurances can you give me that your Department will do everything that it can to ensure the well-being of some of the most vulnerable children in our society?
