Text

I do not have a precise date for when it will be completed. The review has been taken forward partly due to the issues that I have just outlined. We need to support community and voluntary sector youth organisations. They do incredibly important work, and it is important that the systems are supporting them. Concerns have been expressed to me that those organisations feel that the system has not been supporting them in the way that it could, or that they could be delivering services in a way that, perhaps, statutory bodies have not been able to do as effectively.

We need to make sure that the right provision is provided by the right people, but, ultimately, what is best for the young people and who is best to deliver it is the important factor in reaching those decisions.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.03 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.78).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.
