Text
I thank the Member for his question. He may be aware that, when I was in Westminster yesterday, I engaged, as I have said on a number of occasions, with Ministers from the Department of Health and Social Care and with the shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting. I highlighted the concerns and pressures that we face in the Department of Health in Northern Ireland, especially with the budgetary process.
He can be assured that I continue to raise my concerns with Executive colleagues about what I see as a financial shortfall in the allocation provided to the Department of Health as we go into the Budget process next week.
