Text

I thank the Member for giving way, and I appreciate the constructive way in which the Alliance Party is looking at the motion and the amendment. I assure him that, whilst that may be a concern of the Alliance Party, it is certainly not the intention of the amendment. The amendment's focus is on trying to ensure that the UK Government, with the EU, focus on tangible solutions. We recognise that single market access is crucial for veterinary medicines in the wider scheme of things.
