Text

Millennium Integrated is one school that the Treasury should have funded, because of the very reason that has been outlined, namely its advanced stage of readiness. The Department is looking at a number of schools that are at a point at which we could enter into contract, and officials will come to me with their proposals. I would like to take forward that project, but I cannot give the Member an indication today about any particular school, other than to say that I hear what he says about its being ready to go, subject to finance. There are a number of schools in a similar position, and I hope to be able to update the House in due course.
