Text
There is another side to that argument. A car parked for several hours in a town centre may be taking up the parking space of somebody who is prepared to stop, go into a shop and purchase goods or services. There is certainly a number of elements that you have to look at when you are deciding on a car parking charge for any town centre or small village. However, it should be in line with how we support commercial activity rather than restrict it.
