I cannot give you a start date until I have concluded my deliberations on the Planning Appeals Commission's report. It is a detailed and comprehensive report that deserves careful study. If I were to move ahead without giving that report due cognisance, I would leave myself open to another JR, further delay, rising costs and the potential of more deaths on that road. I would love to be able to come to the House and make an announcement about my decision, but I have to and intend to do this the right way.
