Text

I thank the Member for giving way. This intervention may add weight to the Member's argument, but he can make his own mind up about that. In Lisburn, there is a bakery, the owner of which has lambasted me for three weeks, because they cannot get a piece of machinery — a simple mixing bowl that costs £150 — for want of having to fill out extremely arduous paperwork. The lack of scrutiny and attention to detail in drawing up this legislation, particularly on the part of the EU and its requirements, is ridiculous. That points very much to the matter being debated today.

Assessment

Not qualifying

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not qualifying”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.05 (qualifying needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not qualifying).

  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.76).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-qualifying threshold.
