Text
On the issue of roads being closed for repairs, I have asked my officials to review that to make sure that there is consistency of approach. I think that the Member asks a broader question about the quality of the road network, if I am correct. It could be argued that rural roads have fallen behind. I intend to look at my budget as we move forward to see whether we can direct more funding towards our rural road network to bring it up to the standard that businesses and rural dwellers deserve.
