Text
I thank the Minister for coming to the House today. It is excellent news that this has been extended for one year. For clarity, over the weekend, I spoke to victims and survivors of abuse, and the impact and the need for these services is absolutely essential. Can he please confirm that everybody on the waiting list will be able to access counselling this year, and can he confirm that, moving forward, this will not be handled in this way again? People who are on the waiting list have been devastated by the announcement and extremely stressed by the way in which it has been handled.
