Text
The Member will be aware that supply disruptions of some attention deficit hyperactivity disorder treatments have been resolved, but my Department is aware of ongoing supply disruptions involving various strengths and preparations of other ADHD treatments across the UK. Those disruptions have been caused by a combination of manufacturing issues and increased global demand for those products. As the Department of Health and Social Care leads on the maintenance of medicine supply chains to the UK, my Department has been working closely with them, as well as with the other devolved Governments and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), to ensure that the impact of these shortages is mitigated and that patients continue to get the medical supplies that they need.
