Text
Minister, I am very aware of the vital role that junior doctors play in the health service. Pay decline has been a long-standing issue, but it is not the only issue that affects them and not the only one that informs their industrial dispute. Since the announcement yesterday, has there been contact with the BMA in order to have ongoing negotiations to resolve the situation? A strike would have a huge effect on the delivery of care right across the system and would be felt for quite a long time afterwards.
