Text
I thank the Member for that question. As I have stated, I am awaiting clarity from the Treasury about what exactly has been repackaged. We understand from officials that there are a number of funding streams. Fresh Start is one, and there are things that the British Government is responsible for, like the Levelling Up Fund and the new deal. I will await clarity from the Treasury. I will raise it with the Chief Secretary to the Treasury tomorrow, making it clear that we need to have an understanding of it. It will then be for the Executive, as part of the Budget-setting process for 2024-25, to deal with bids from the other Ministers and to make decisions about how to allocate that funding.
