Text

I take the opportunity to welcome the Minister to his role, and I look forward to working with him as Chair of the Communities Committee. Minister, do you agree that deaf people have experienced generations of inequality and social exclusion as a result of underinvestment in those sources? Will you commit — I know that you mentioned it — to ensuring that the Bill that you will lay will include both Irish sign language and British sign language?

78 words. Text as published by the Northern Ireland Assembly.
