Text

I do not disagree with the Member. A lot of those issues have been brought into the business case for Casement Park, because it is not just about the potential of building a football stadium and hosting football matches but the wider economic driver that it would be, as he rightly said, not just to west Belfast but to Belfast as a whole, the entire North and, I am sure, beyond. That will be considered. If we in the Department are asked for assistance by, for example, giving analysis, I would be happy for us to provide that.

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not qualifying”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.04 (qualifying needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not qualifying).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • Subject area: Sport (including the GAA), the arts and cultural bodies.
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-qualifying threshold.
