Text
The Member may be aware that my predecessor, Conor Murphy, convened a banking round table in February 2022. He raised some issues coming out of that around ensuring access to cash and services and stakeholder engagement on managing the change in services. They set those out in a report that was formally presented to Treasury and other regulatory authorities in London, including the Financial Conduct Authority, for consideration. The Member may be aware that the Financial Conduct Authority has made some recommendations around access to cash, and that is something on which I will be keen to engage with it further.
