Text
I thank the Minister for his answer, although it is very disappointing, given that the scheme he referred to is 17 years old, and we are now dealing with much higher costs. A number of families in my constituency are still out of their homes as a result of the flooding and their inability to get flood cover in their house insurance. Will the Minister review his decision and agree to consider a dedicated financial support scheme, as the Department for the Economy is doing for businesses in phase 2, to enable people to get back into their homes?
