Text
Mr Kearney asked the Minister for the Economy whether he will ensure that the trade union movement is fully consulted on the drafting and implementation of any legislation that he brings forward to improve workers’ rights, given that, for far too long, the Irish trade union movement and its individual affiliates have been denied meaningful involvement in the development of public policy, particularly in relation to industrial, employment and economic matters.
