Text

I thank the Minister for coming today, and I recognise that he has been in post for only little over a week. We do not want to start apportioning blame today; we want to work constructively. I note that, in his responses, to Colin McGrath and originally, he talked about longer-term solutions, not just for the Children's Hospice but for all the hospice organisations. Does he agree, though, that the Department of Health has a larger role to play in the long-term solutions, particularly around discussions on the sustainability of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice as a whole? What action, including plans, will he take with the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice to address its future sustainability?
