Text
I want to congratulate a local sports club in Fermanagh and South Tyrone that has just been crowned world champions for the second year in a row. It is in the lesser-known sport of tug of war, and it is Country Club Tug of War. The team has been in Sweden for the past number of days to compete in the world championships, where it has been runner-up twice and had one third place. However, the team especially excelled in the 560 kg competition and has been crowned world champions for the second year in a row. I put on record my congratulations to the team. It is very close to my heart because I am a former member of that club and former a tug of war champion with it — many years ago, I might add. Congratulations to the current crop.
