The Irish Government’s Failure to Cooperate on Legacy Cases - Amendment 2
Leave out all after ‘Assembly’ and insert:
‘recognises the limitations of the UK Supreme Court judgment in the Dillon case; acknowledges that the findings will force victims and survivors of the Northern Ireland Troubles into further court hearings as test cases; and calls on the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to urgently reform the process of disclosure, enable all troubles-related cases to be considered by the proposed Legacy Commission, and allow next of kin participation so the Commission commands the full support and confidence of victims and survivors.’
