Leave out all after ‘available in other’ and insert:
‘parts of the United Kingdom, particularly in relation to statutory protections and transition planning; notes with concern the absence in Northern Ireland of a statutory framework equivalent to Education, Health and Care Plans in England extending support to the age of 25; further recognises the anxiety and uncertainty this creates for many families navigating the transition into adulthood; further notes that expenditure on comparable schemes in England generates Barnett consequentials for Northern Ireland; and calls on the Minister of Education, working alongside the Minister of Health and Minister for the Economy, to bring forward proposals to ensure consistent, high-quality post-19 support pathways and clear legal entitlements for young people with special educational needs between the ages of 19 and 25.’
