Leave out all after ‘external consultants;’ and insert:
‘further recognises that public confidence in the Executive has been undermined by inefficient and wasteful management of public funds, particularly evidenced by the Report of the Independent Public Inquiry into the Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Scheme; expresses concern with the lack of progress in implementing the recommendations of the RHI Inquiry; notes the Scottish Government’s commitment to reduce public body corporate and core government operating costs by approximately 20 per cent by 2030; calls on the Minister of Finance to agree mandatory, rolling efficiency targets for day-to-day spending by every Executive Department; and further calls on the Minister to outline the progress implementing the recommendations of the RHI Inquiry that remain outstanding.’
