Modernisation of Future Census
That this Assembly welcomes the increasing diversity of our population; recognises that equality and employment laws need to be modernised; acknowledges that any requirement to guess people's community background is no longer appropriate more than a generation on from the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement; and calls on the Minister of Finance to take steps to modernise how community background is treated including by removing the second religion question from any future census.
