Sectarian and Racist Intimidation from Homes - Amendment 1
Leave out all after “such attacks;” and insert: ‘notes the commitment by the Executive Office to bring forward a refreshed Good Relations Strategy alongside Together: Building a United Community to address sectarianism and racism through a whole-community approach; acknowledges that there is a housing crisis which requires urgent cross-departmental interventions to remove barriers to building more social and affordable homes; calls on the Minister for Communities to outline what specific action his department has undertaken, or is undertaking, to focus resources to delivering housing for all, including in the context of the Housing Supply Strategy; and further calls on the Minister of Justice to promote an effective multi-agency criminal justice response, based on the Community Safety Framework, designed to protect people being targeted in their own homes.’
