Humanitarian Aid to Gaza (Revised Wording)
That this Assembly expresses profound concern at the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza; condemns the expansion of the Israeli Government’s military offensive and its illegal blockade and siege of Gaza; notes the UK’s binding obligations under international law, including to prevent genocide; calls on the UK Government to urgently publish all genocide risk assessments and immediately suspend all arms sales to Israel; and further calls on both the UK and Irish Governments to press for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, removal of restrictions on humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages held by Hamas, and safe, legal pathways to sanctuary for Palestinians seeking to flee the conflict and reunification with family.
