Failure to deliver the Sexual Orientation Strategy
That this Assembly expresses concern at the failure of the Department for Communities to progress and publish the Sexual Orientation Strategy; agrees that it is unacceptable that more than three years have passed since this Strategy was scheduled for publication, and that the delay has compounded the inequalities, discrimination and harm suffered by LGBTQI+ communities across Northern Ireland; affirms its commitment to full equality and inclusion for LGBTQI+ people; and calls on the Minister for Communities to publish the Strategy without further delay.
