Text
Good Relations and Social Change Funding
That this Assembly recognises the need to demonstrate that good relations and social change funding is properly monitored and evaluated to ensure it delivers tangible and demonstrable outcomes in reconciling and uniting our community; acknowledges that a key aspect of this work is ending paramilitarism and the coercive control of local communities; calls on the First Minister and deputy First Minister to publish a paper, before the end of 2025, on how good relations and social change funding will be more effectively monitored and evaluated; and further calls on the First Minister and deputy First Minister to bring forward a statement to the Assembly, within that time period, on how they will ensure that funding provided under good relations, Communities in Transition and other programmes is not, at any time, subject to influence by paramilitary groups.
