Expanding Support for Apprenticeships - Amendment 2
Leave out all after ‘commitment’ and insert:
‘in the Skills Strategy to introduce all age apprenticeships across key sectors of our economy; further welcomes the intention to improve entry routes and career progression in our health system and wider public sector by establishing a new Nursing Higher Level Apprenticeship Framework and expanding public sector apprenticeships; notes with concern the shortfall in funding for skills and apprenticeships due to the loss of the European Social Fund and European Regional Development Funding; and calls on the British Government to restore this funding as was originally promised; and further calls on Minister for the Economy to set out his vision to increase apprenticeship provision within this Assembly mandate.’
