To ask the Minister of Health to detail (i) whether his Department is considering reducing the maximum ambulance handover time under the release to rescue policy from two hours to 45 minutes during winter 2026-27; and (ii) any assessment that has been made of the potential impact of such a change on emergency department capacity and patient flow; and (iii) any safeguards currently in place to protect patient safety and mitigate additional pressures on overcrowded emergency departments.
