To ask the Minister of Health to detail (i) any mandatory dementia specific training required for staff working in residential and nursing homes; and (ii) any measures his Department is taking to ensure consistency in the provision and quality of dementia training across all care homes, particularly in relation to managing challenging behaviour, safeguarding vulnerable residents, and recognising signs of distress.
