To ask the Minister of Health whether any assessment has been made by his Department of (i) the feasibility and cost of Northern Ireland participating in the in-service evaluation of newborn screening for spinal muscular atrophy; and (ii) arrangements to facilitate participation notwithstanding the financial pressures and planned relocation of the Newborn Screening Laboratory.
