To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail (i) any meetings held since January 2024 between him, or officials in his Department, and chief executives of district councils regarding the enforcement of the Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 in respect of non-farmed animals, including (ii) the date of each meeting; (iii) any councils represented; (iv) any issues discussed; and (v) any actions agreed relating to (a) enforcement capacity; (b) officer training; (c) out-of-hours provision; and (d) the funding of council animal welfare services.
