To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (i) whether mandatory catch and release applies on rivers within the Carlingford catchment under the Loughs Agency’s jurisdiction; and (ii) where the requirements differ from those applying within the Foyle catchment, to detail (a) the differences; (b) the scientific and conservation reasons for them; and (c) whether the same assessment methods and conservation thresholds are applied in both catchments.
