Text
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in relation to the UK Government-funded Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) climate-cooling programme, to detail (i) whether there has been any discussions on the programme with the UK Government or ARIA; (ii) whether any experiments funded through the programme have taken place, or are planned to take place, in or over Northern Ireland; and (iii) whether any assessment has been made of the potential environmental implications for Northern Ireland, given that climate scientists have warned that such interventions engage some of the most poorly understood aspects of the climate system.
