Text

To ask the Minister of Justice, in light of the findings of Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland's follow-up review on probation approved premises, June 2026, which found that further action was required to address barriers to healthcare access and support continuity of care on release from custody, to detail (i) the proportion of people released to approved premises during the last 12 months that were registered with a GP before release; (ii) the median time to GP registration for those not registered, prior to release; and (iii) how often individuals were released without adequate continuity of prescribed medication.
