Text
To ask the Minister for the Economy whether she will consider (i) urgently reviewing the decision to prevent Careers Service staff from exercising discretion in referring young people to Skills for Life and Work provision, where there is evidence that a young person is unlikely to engage with mainstream further education; and (ii) assessing the potential consequences for young people falling into the not in education, employment or training category, as a result.
