To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 49349/22-27, given the uncertainty facing farmers considering participation in peatland restoration schemes, to detail (i) any representations he has made to the Minister of Finance in relation to the potential impact of Agricultural Property Relief rules on such land; and (ii) whether he has requested that the Department of Finance engage with HM Treasury and HMRC to seek clarification and reassurance for farm businesses.
