Text
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 20398/22-27, which stated that increasing the area of forests and woodlands from the current 8.6 per cent of land area to 12 per cent by 2050 is a key focus for his Department, and given the March 2025 DAERA Corporate Plan 2025–2027 makes no mention of trees, woodland or forestry, whether his Department will consider redrafting the plan to include this as a stated priority.
