Text
To ask the Minister for the Economy, given the precedent set by the size of projects clearing in the three recent Republic of Ireland Renewable Energy Support Scheme (RESS) auctions, for his assessment of the Renewable NI and KPMG report on Accelerating Renewables in Northern Ireland, in which the industry group requested the entry point be lowered to >1MW for projects bidding into the planned Northern Ireland RESS auctions between 2025 and 2027, so as to maximise opportunities for new renewable generation and participation ahead of the 80 per cent by 2030 deadline.
