Text
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 14616/22-27, and given the differences in government support available north and south of the border, how his Department plans to (i) ensure mushroom growers in the north can compete equally with those in the south of Ireland, specifically in terms of financial aid, innovation, and capital investment; (ii) address concerns that the proposed schemes may not address the needs of the mushroom sector; and (iii) ensure that the schemes provide meaningful and effective support for the industry’s specific challenges.
