Text

I thank the Member for giving way. He talks about the Executive not just getting to the next crisis before it supports people, but will he agree that a lot of the issues that affect the rising cost of living are completely outside our control? There are wars across the world that the British Government feed into, and that has an impact on rising fuel costs. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the British Government to bring forward a cost-of-living package rather than the NI Executive, inside or outside of an agreed budgetary position.
