Following on in the vein of Mr McAleer, the AERA Committee has been taking evidence on the Areas with Natural Constraints (Payments) Bill and has heard at first hand the challenges that farmers are facing across all sectors. In light of that, what efforts have you been making during the Budget discussions to increase the amount of money that will be available to your Department, thereby enlarging the pot for payments to all farmers?
