Text
You are leading me to say that I endorse your Bill. I thank you, Declan, for meeting officials in relation to your private Member's Bill. They valued that engagement, and I know that the Committee is continuing its scrutiny of the Bill. As Minister, I would value an opportunity to meet you to discuss the Bill as we, hopefully, bring it back to the House for Consideration Stage. I have set out to you the range of measures that we are providing in the sustainable agriculture programme to support farms of different sizes. I will take some of your feedback in relation to the agri-environment schemes and reflect that back to my officials. I know that there has been quite a significant uptake of the Farming with Nature transition scheme, which is really positive. As Minister, I am committed to supporting farms of all sizes.
