Text
As I said, I am absolutely committed to working with the GAA to get that flagship project delivered; that is why it is in the Programme for Government. We have seen momentum on the site in recent months, which is positive, and that needs to continue. The funding that we have secured thus far, whether it is from the Executive, the Irish Government or the British Government, shows good progress. The Member is right: that is where we should have had the game yesterday — congratulations to both teams and to St Brigid's on the win — and we want to see games played at Casement Park. That remains my commitment, and I will work tirelessly with the GAA to ensure that it happens.
