Text
Had we taken your party's advice, of course, we would be no further on today. As a matter of fact, we have advanced the envelope that we have to deal with those matters. I would say to anybody who is on a waiting list that we are fighting every day for them to have access to healthcare. We are fighting every day for funding for public services that will allow us to deal with health waiting lists. We have been able to make some progress in that regard, because we have secured funding that we are able to invest in our health service. I would say to everybody that we are fighting for what is only fair for you. You pay into the system, so you are entitled to get good public services. We do not accept second class for you; you are entitled to good public services. We will ensure that all of our public-sector workers have their pay. That is our work every day until we get to that end point.
