I, too, will be brief. I welcome the Further Consideration Stage of the Irish-medium Education (Workforce Plan) Bill. I record the SDLP's support and its thanks to the Bill sponsor, Pat Sheehan, for his work on the Bill. We heard evidence at length at the Committee, and the amendment before us today, which adds the Education Authority to the list, as the Chair rightly said, is short and sensible. The EA must be consulted when preparing and taking advice on the workforce plan. We in the SDLP support it.
