Text
That proposal has not come to me, but I am happy to speak to officials about it in order to scope out what it would entail and look like. It is important to reflect on the Member's comment that, on the whole, our taxi services are highly reputable and very safe, and they ensure that people, be they a child, an elderly person, a vulnerable person or someone going to and from a night out or work, get home safely. It is about continuing to ensure that we protect those workers out there who do a really good job and in whom we can place our trust and that we protect passengers. I am happy to speak to officials about that to see where it goes. We will keep the Member informed.
