Text
As the Member will know, I have met Monica Heaney on numerous occasions. I have also met the students of New-Bridge Integrated College, who put a challenging case to me. Telling those young people that we had to put the upgrade on hold for some time was one of the most difficult things that I have had to do as Minister. Yes, I have been factoring that in to my draft budget as it stands. Obviously, we are still in a live negotiation on what the final Budget settlement will be, but it is certainly my intention that we continue to press ahead with the A1. We also have to consider carefully the full wording of the judgement to take into consideration anything that we have not already been made aware of when moving ahead so that there are no further unnecessary delays.
